乔格瀑布

Description:
乔格瀑布是印度地势最高的瀑布，距离乌杜皮(Udupi)到卡尔瓦尔这段海岸中点约50公里。沙拉沃蒂河从253公尺高处往下陡降，形成了四个不同的瀑布，各别称为拉尼(Rani)、火箭(Rocket)、拉贾(Raja)、大声公(Roarer)；高度253公尺的拉贾是最高的瀑布，下面水潭深40公尺。每逢季风时期的大雨过后，这几座瀑布看起来格外的壮观宏伟，最理想的游览时间是十一月末到一月初。50公尺长的希勒巴斯加尔水库(Hirebhasgar)和林加纳姆基水坝(Linganamkki)调节沙拉沃蒂河的水流以利水力发电。从观测木屋可以看到绝佳的奇景，如果要在此过夜的话需要提前预订。
