Description:
这座供奉Siva (Nellaiyappa)和Pavati (Kathimathi)的孪生寺院位于城市的中心。它最早是由Padyas建于13世纪，但在17至18世纪被彻底的改建扩大了一番，主神名叫''Suyambu Ligam'' ，是Shiva神的Ligam形象，从地下一直竖到地上。寺内美丽的雕刻、艺术性的柱子、珍贵的珠宝、一个金制的百合花床还有一千个pillaed madapa都是看点。这是湿婆教五个圣地之一。这里每年的六月至七月会庆祝著名的汽车节。十月至十一月还会庆祝Shiva 和Pavathi结婚的日子。
