距焦特布尔135公里的这座城堡，加上其精美的壁画，都非常值得一看，这是拉贾斯坦邦里风景最为如诗如画丽的城镇之一。历史上纳高尔曾被莫卧儿帝国的皇帝沙贾汗(Shahajehan)送给拉索尔王国(Rathore：这支民族以骁勇善战而著称，可以说是印度的武士)的阿马辛格(Amar Singh)。在城镇的主入口处有一片皇家纪念碑群，阿马辛格国王的纪念碑就在波光潋潋的水池旁边。一月到二月的纳高尔节吸引了来自世界各地的游客，节日里主要的活动是牛和骆驼的交易、斗牛、斗鸡、以及骆驼赛跑等。
