伯拉卡德堡（The Palakkad Fort）

Description:
其历史可以追溯到公元1766年，此城堡至今仍保存得还不错。迈索尔的海德尔阿里(Haider Ali)是当初建造它的人，目的原来是想促进哥印拜陀市和西海岸之间的交流。这座城堡曾经在1784年被英军围攻了11天，之后由富勒顿(Fullerton)上校带兵攻破。稍后又落入扎莫拉(Zamora)的军队手中，不过1790年又再次被英军攻占。现在则是由印度考古局负责维护这座城堡。
