Description:
它是奇塔乌Chittau值得夸耀的建筑，体积庞大，有许多入口，由孔雀王朝后期的统治者修建于公元7世纪。位于海拔180米的高山之上，占地700公顷。城堡里的碑和其他纪念碑是拉齐普特人英雄主义的象征。城堡主要入口有the Padal pol, the Bhaio pol, the Ram pol ad the Hauma pol. 这里的纪念碑具有典型的拉提普特建筑风格，宏伟华丽，散发无限魅力。位于现代城区旁的一座险山之上，顺着曲折的山坡向上行近一公里就可到达城堡的主入口，Ram Pol，沿途可是看到两座纪念碑，分别献给Jaimai和Patta，1568年他们因为捍卫城堡而被敌军逼迫坠崖而壮烈牺牲。虽然大部分的纪念碑已毁，但是它们反映了当时统治阶级的光荣与伟大。
