这是布巴内斯瓦尔存留下来的寺庙中最为古老的其中一座，帕拉舒拉梅斯瓦拉庙建于公元650年，是一座拜湿婆神的寺庙，该庙是羯陵伽派建筑风格的最佳代表。这里除了有湿婆神像外，还有毗湿奴神、太阳神、阎罗王(Yama)和王母娘娘(Mother Goddess)等众神神像。寺庙装饰豪华，有着大量的花卉、人类和动物图案。
