能够荣登铁路事实与壮举(Rail Facts and Feats)的金氏纪录，这个观光小火车实在应该要取个更伟大的名字。全世界走山路的古董铁路，只剩20条仍然在运作，而到卡尔卡和西姆拉的这班观光小火车就是其中之一。这列窄轨火车是寇松爵士(Lord Curzon)呕心沥血之作，六个小时内行驶96公里，沿途经过103个隧道，969座桥，要拐919个弯，停靠20个站，以及5个平交道，它于公元1904年开始通车，是工程学上的一大奇迹。沿途穿梭在有如桃花源般美丽的山脉与峡谷之间，游客很容易就忘却火车行驶速度之慢，它所通过的最长隧道大约有6000英呎，并且一出此隧道紧接着又是一个1公里长的隧道。另外还有很多引人入胜的景点值得一游，如夏丘(Summmer Hill)、格兰森林(Glen Forest)、前景丘(Prospect Hill)以及阿南德谷(Anand Dale)。
