蒂鲁内尔韦利距离康亚库马里83公里，这里的神庙斯瓦米奈里阿帕（Swami Nelliappa）和斯里甘蒂玛蒂阿姆巴尔都可以追溯到公元7世纪。桑班达尔（Sambada）曾经歌颂过它，波陀耶国的宁拉西尔勒玛蓝（Niasi Neumaa）受命在该庙柱廊建设音乐柱。最初这里又两座肩并肩的神庙，分别供奉奈里阿帕和女神甘蒂玛蒂。后来于1647年建成的柱廊把它们连接了起来。这里最古老的碑铭源于十世纪中期。
